The negociation of technical rider
 
It is important to communicate with the technical director of each of the performer because we need to look through a lot of thing with them..
 
1. The validity of the technical rider 
It can happen that the technical rider you receive from the performer booker is not valid. The old technical rider can have a few things that is wrong or can we completly wrong.
 
2. The equipment negociation
It can be possible to deal some modification on the rider with the technical director. It can result in a lot of saving for you. We can discover that the performer has bought a part of the needed equipment so we don't have to supply it to you.

3. Des clauses spéciales

It can happen sometimes that perfomrer refuse the access of the console board, microphones and other equipment to other performer on the stage. It's important to verifiy all this with the technical director cause it could lead to a lot of problem the day of your event it this element have not been discuss with them priori to the event.
 
4. Making another technical rider
At the end of the negociations, we make another document that we transfer to the technical director. This document list all of their demand with a list of what we have discuss as a replacement . The technicial director have to take a look et check to see if everything is ok with them. After that, they send us back the document with the approbation. After this, we will be able to send you your quotation.

Before advertising the schedule of your activity it's important to look at some points.
 
1. Check in of the performer & sound test
Did you think of having break between performers show ?

A schedule with activities following each other without break is not a realistic schedule. You need take into consideration that performer need time to install their instrument & time to test it before beginning their performance.

 
2. Logistics
We need to think of all the logistics before the beginning of the show, the coordination of each provider (stage, electrician, sound system). We need to schedule the necessary time for each of them to make their installation, test & adjustment so that everything is secure & ready in time to receive the performer.
 
3. The program

Did you think to make & leave a copy of the program of your event to the technical staff (screen presentation, special animation, president speech, surprise guest, ...). It's really important for the good performance of your event that the technical staff have in their possession the complete program of your eveninng because if certain action need to be made before an interaction it can cause delay or involuntary problem. It should also be in the hand of the technical staff several hours before the beginning of your event so that you can all look at it & see if there can be an error or a logistic problem that needs to make changes.

1. With the performer technical staff
The communication with them is really important, we need to provide them a schedule with the sound test & answer their technical questions
 
2. with all other provider
the communication with all other provider is also important.
The stage provider need to be ready at the scheduled hours. It's the same with all other provider. They all need to have a schedule to know exactly at what time their work needs to be done.

To let you know what is going on.
 
4. With the performer & their staff the day of the event
So they can be sure that everyhting is in time with them.
 
 
 
Meeting after the event
It's not obligatory but if the event is to be schedule again, it could be really interresting to make a complete follow up of the event. This meeting could be really constructive cause we will be able to see problems & find some solutions before the next one.
