Project Manager

Description of tasks:

  • Assist the director of the events department
  • Participate in meetings between the client and the director of the events department
  • Make advances with the artists
  • Development of the list of equipment required for the client project
  • Development of the number of technicians required for assembly and dismantling
  • Development of the number of technicians and positions to be filled for the operation of the event
  • Development of the assembly, operation and dismantling schedule
  • Management / Coordination during the setting up of the event
  • Management / Coordination during the event (in certain cases)
  • Management / Coordination during the dismantling of the event
  • End of event report (Labor, equipment, schedule, breakage, problem, suggestion for improvement (Customer), suggestion for internal improvement
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and requirements



Desired Skills and Abilites:

  • Minimum of 2 years in the audiovisual field as an events manager
  • Having a valid driver's license
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to work in team
  • Intermediate knowledge in Audio (a minimum)
  • Intermediate knowledge in Video (a minimum)
  • Intermediate knowledge in Lighting (a minimum)
  • Intermediate knowledge in Rigging (a minimum)
  • Have the ability to manage a work team (a minimum)
  • Have ease of communication (freelancer, employees, client)
  • Knowledge of computer (network, Windows and MAC OS environment)
  • Have an eye for detail
  • In good physical shape
  • Bilingual (an asset)
