Project Manager
Description of tasks:
- Assist the director of the events department
- Participate in meetings between the client and the director of the events department
- Make advances with the artists
- Development of the list of equipment required for the client project
- Development of the number of technicians required for assembly and dismantling
- Development of the number of technicians and positions to be filled for the operation of the event
- Development of the assembly, operation and dismantling schedule
- Management / Coordination during the setting up of the event
- Management / Coordination during the event (in certain cases)
- Management / Coordination during the dismantling of the event
- End of event report (Labor, equipment, schedule, breakage, problem, suggestion for improvement (Customer), suggestion for internal improvement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and requirements
Desired Skills and Abilites:
- Minimum of 2 years in the audiovisual field as an events manager
- Having a valid driver's license
- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to work in team
- Intermediate knowledge in Audio (a minimum)
- Intermediate knowledge in Video (a minimum)
- Intermediate knowledge in Lighting (a minimum)
- Intermediate knowledge in Rigging (a minimum)
- Have the ability to manage a work team (a minimum)
- Have ease of communication (freelancer, employees, client)
- Knowledge of computer (network, Windows and MAC OS environment)
- Have an eye for detail
- In good physical shape
- Bilingual (an asset)
